This project was built out of a desire that has kept popping up in my life — I often start new projects, and need to set things up to my particular requirements every time. It’s a faff and I wanted a tool to remove that friction.
I initially searched for something that would work, and there are a few things out there, but nothing quite fit my requirements. I was really looking for a way to manage my local templates, not tools for scaffolding large projects.
In the end I decided to just build it myself, which is how I ended up with this. It supports both local and git templates, and sets up git by default. It’s very lightweight overall.
